Description
Suitable for ages 9 - 10+
The flute is the only woodwind instrument that is held sideways, and the sound is created by blowing across the hole of the mouthpiece, not in it.
The flute has a distinctive, silvery sound and is one of the highest-pitched instruments, often heard soaring over the rest of an orchestra.
Recorder experience is beneficial before starting flute.
